At DukanBook, we take your privacy seriously. We collect only the minimum information needed to provide you with our services effectively. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and shop-related data such as items, bills, expenses, and payment records that you voluntarily enter into the application.
We do not collect any information from third parties about you. All data in your account is created and managed by you. We also collect basic device information (device type, operating system, browser) to improve our app performance and fix bugs, but this data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide and improve the DukanBook service. Specifically, we use your data to: authenticate your account and provide secure access; generate bills, invoices, and financial reports; track your shop's sales, expenses, and inventory; provide customer support and communicate important updates; and analyze usage patterns to improve our product features and user experience.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your shop data belongs to you and you alone.
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our servers are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with regular security audits, automated backups, and disaster recovery procedures. We use Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) for our database, which provides enterprise-grade security and reliability. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only, with multi-factor authentication required.
4. Data Storage & Backup
Your data is stored securely on cloud servers and is automatically backed up daily. You can access your data from any device by logging into your account. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your personal and shop data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
DukanBook uses cookies and browser local storage for essential functionality such as keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, and ensuring the app works properly. We do not use tracking cookies from third-party advertisers. Essential cookies are necessary for the app to function and cannot be disabled.
6. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to power DukanBook: Supabase for authentication and database; Vercel for hosting and deployment. These services are contractually obligated to protect your data and comply with applicable data protection laws. We do not share your shop data with any other third parties.
7. Children's Privacy
DukanBook is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of DukanBook after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
